Om Shri Kotaiahyyaya Namaha
ఓం శ్రీ కోటయ్యాయ నమః
Shri Korrapati Kotaiah, was born to Shri Ankaiah and Pitchamma in Turlapadu, near Chilakaluripet, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
He was a legendary CHEDUGUDU player in the vicinity. He could not study beyond SSLC because of poverty. To pay the school fee he was working in fields to earn money.
During his childhood he was very lean and light. While he was less than 1 year old, a big cyclone hit their village. The winds started blowing at very high speed. The small Kotaiah who was in front of his house was flown away by the strong winds. He was thrown into the compound of a potter man's (kummari) house. After the strong winds stopped, the potter women noticed a small boy lying still in front of their house. Immediately she called her husband. Both of them took the boy inside. There was no movement in the boy. Immediately they made a fire and warmed up the boy. The boy got conscious after a while. People started gathering around their house to see the miracle and the miracle boy who survived the cyclonic winds. In the meanwhile, the parents of small Kotaiah started searching for the boy weeping. They were asking their neighbours about the boy. They were very sad. Some one who came to know about the miracle boy, informed Ankaiah and Pitchamma, the parents of master Kotaiah. Both of them ran to the Potterman's house with full of tears. Finally when they saw their son in the lap of Potterwoman's hands, there was no bounds for their joy. Thus as infant, Shri Kotaiah survived the strong cyclonic winds and displayed his miracle strength.
He is said to be the first Central Government job getter from Turlapadu village.
